THE RAYMOND CALDWELL
ENDOWMENT FUND
Setting the Stage for a Secure Future
The Texas Shakespeare Festival Foundation Board of Directors has established an endowment in honor of Raymond Caldwell, the founder and artistic director of the Texas Shakespeare Festival (TSF) for 35 years. Raymond Caldwell retired as TSF Artistic Director in 2020.
Unlike donations to the TSF Foundation Annual Fund, which support the current needs of Texas Shakespeare Festival, gifts to The Raymond Caldwell Endowment Fund are designed to provide a financial safety net to help sustain operations of the Festival and supplement the inevitable ebb and flow of annual fundraising outcomes. The corpus of the endowment will never be invaded; only a portion of the interest earned will be available for use.
Contributions to the Endowment are managed by the highly respected Texas Presbyterian Foundation, headquartered in Dallas, with more than $1 billion in total assets. The fund is an endowment in perpetuity, ensuring that Raymond’s dream for live professional theatre in East Texas will continue to flourish and grow.
Thank you for your interest in and support of the Texas Shakespeare Festival! If you want to learn more about how you can help TSF and have an impact the cultural landscape of East Texas for generations to come, please contact:
