DESIGNERS
Sound Designer
May 15 arrive / June 30 depart
$5,000 stipend / up to $400 travel / single occupancy dorm housing / 11 meals a week
Minimum Requirement: preferred Master's degree and/or three years of professional design experience
Responsible for:
● Designing, creating, and acquiring all sound effects and music for the main four-show repertory
● Supervising all personnel and work within the sound department
● Working within the allotted budget and production schedule
● Accounting for all expenditures
● Implementing and documenting the festival sound and video system set-up
● Attending, when requested, public relations events: media day, post-show discussions, interviews, and presentations
● Participating in opening night discussions
Costume Designers (2)
May 13 arrive / June 30 depart
$5,500 stipend / up to $400 travel / single occupancy dorm housing / 11 meals a week
Minimum Requirement: preferred Master's degree and/or three years of professional design experience
Responsible for:
● Designing all costumes, accessories, hairstyles, and specialty makeup for two of the four repertory shows
● Providing color renderings for possible exhibition
● Working within the allotted budget and production schedule
● Purchasing all fabrics, trims, and accessories in coordination with the Costume Shop Manager
● Accounting for all expenditures
● Consulting with the cutters/drapers about patterns and construction methods
● Attending first read-throughs, fittings, production meetings, and dress rehearsals
● Serving as the primary craftsperson, dyer, and milliner on their two productions
● Generating all show-related paperwork, including actor/scene charts, dressing lists, quick-change lists, etc.
● Attending, when requested, public relations events: media day, post-show discussions, interviews, and presentations
● Participating in opening night discussions
Scenic & Properties Designer- position filled
May 13 arrive / June 30 depart
$6,000 stipend / up to $400 travel / single occupancy dorm housing / 11 meals a week
Minimum Requirement: preferred Master's degree and/or three years of professional design experience
Responsible for:
● Designing all scenic elements for a four-show rotating repertory season
● Designing all prop elements for a four-show rotating repertory season
● Supplying all drawings and models or renderings for the four designs
● Working within the allotted budget and production schedule
● Participating in opening night discussions
Lighting Designer- position filled
May 15 arrive / June 30 depart
