A Midwest implant from Southern California, Michael is ecstatic to join the creative team for his first season with Texas Shakespeare Festival. Since graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications & Theatre Arts from Sterling College in Kansas, Michael has stage managed productions with Great Plains Theatre, Cumberland County Playhouse, Krannert Center for the Performing Arts, Wichita Grand Opera, Crown Uptown Dinner Theatre, The Round Barn Theatre at Amish Acres, and Toledo Opera. Memorable credits include Gypsy at Cumberland County Playhouse and Forever Plaid at The Round Barn Theatre. Michael is also an experienced director, having most recently directed the Butte, Montana local premiere of Duck Ugly at Orphan Girl Children’s Theatre before arriving in Kilgore. Outside of work, he enjoys movies, hiking, and cooking. Michael is ever grateful to Heather and his family for their undying support and encouragement of his passion for the arts.
