Javier A. Moreno-Bothwell hails from San Juan, Puerto Rico. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Drama from the University of Puerto Rico, where he focused on design and Theater Technology. While pursuing his Bachelor of Arts degree, he performed in a total of six Mainstage Shows as part of the University's traveling Theatre Company, including Hamlet, Romeo & Juliet, The Crucible, and The Balcony, by Jean Genet. Currently, he is pursuing a Master Of Fine Arts Degree at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, with a specialty in Lighting Design. His most recent credits include Metamorphoses (Lighting Designer, Nevada Conservatory Theatre) Sense & Sensibility (Master Electrician, Nevada Conservatory Theatre) Coriolanus(Master Electrician, Great River Shakespeare Festival, Winona, MN), and worked as a lighting technician for the Third 2016 US Presidential Debate, at UNLV.
