DJ Canaday was born and raised in Sacramento California before moving south to pursue a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from California State University, Fullerton. Now residing in New York City, his career has taken him to stages across the globe; from Disneyland to the White House, Costa Rica to China, and countless destinations in between. He spent the last year performing in 67 cities across the country with the national touring company of 42nd Street, which played in both Dallas and Fort Worth. Favorite roles include Harold Hill in The Music Man, Billy Bigelow in Carousel, and Mitch in Tuesdays with Morrie. His work this summer is dedicated in loving memory of Stephanie Routman, a friend and colleague who first encouraged his appreciation for Shakespeare's text. This is DJ's second season with TSF.
