POSITION CLOSED - Scenic/Properties Designer

May 11 arrival / June 30 depart

Contact Festival Office for salary information / $400 travel / private dorm housing / 14 meals a week

Responsible for designing all set and properties elements for a four show rotating repertory season and overseeing the properties department in the design acquisition and/or implementation of all properties; the scenic design will supply all drawings and renderings for the four designs; agrees to work within a stated budget and accounts for all expenditures; agrees to work within a set production schedule.

 

Costume Designer (2) 

May 15 arrival / June 30 depart

Contact Festival Office for salary information / $400 travel / private dorm housing / 14 meals a week

Responsible for designing and sketching all costumes, including accessories, hairstyles, and specialty makeup for two of the four repertory shows; provides color renderings for possible exhibitions; agrees to work within a stated budget and accounts for all expenditures; agrees to work within a set production schedule;  responsible for purchasing all fabrics and trims, or coordinating their purchase with the Costume Shop Manager; consults with the cutter/draper about patterns and construction methods; attends first read-throughs, fittings, production meetings, and dress rehearsals; serves as the primary craftsperson, dyer, milliner, and wig stylist on their production;  generates all show-related paperwork, including actor/scene charts, dressing lists, quick-change lists, etc.; upon request, attends public relation events: media day, post-show discussion, interviews, and presentations.  

 

POSITION CLOSED - Lighting Designer 

May 15 arrival / June 30 depart

Responsible for overseeing the lighting department and the design and creation of all lighting elements for the main four show repertory; agrees to work within a stated budget and accounts for all expenditures; agrees to work within a set production schedule; in addition, the lighting designer is responsible for the creation and documentation of the festival lighting design; upon request, attends public relation events: media day, post-show discussion, interviews, and presentations.   

 

POSITION CLOSED - Sound Designer

 

May 11 arrival / June 30 depart

Responsible for overseeing the sound department and the design and creation of all sound and music for the main four show repertory; agrees to work within a stated budget and accounts for all expenditures; agrees to work within a set production schedule; in addition, the sound designer is responsible for the creation and documentation of the festival sound an video systems. designing all sound elements for a four-show rotating repertory season; upon request, attends public relation events: media day, post-show discussion, interviews, and presentations.
